After graduating from St. Louis University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Vestibular system: A system that is composed
of the vestibular apparatus, the vestibulocochlear nerve, and the parts of the brain that interpret
and respond to information derived from those structures.
