Medical Definition of Renal osteodystrophy

Renal osteodystrophy: A bone disorder that adversely affects bone growth and is caused by chronic kidney failure (renal disease). Osteodystrophy can require treatment with vitamin D. Also known as kidney osteodystrophy.
