Fiber, especially in vegetables, helps you feel full. Also, add some protein and a little fat.

Question:

Can someone tell me some general foods that are really filling so I don't overload on my desserts at the end of the night? I just want to have a filling dinner beforehand so I don't freak out on the sweets! Please just give me some filling foods!

Answer:

Veggies and beans -- they are loaded with fiber, and fiber can help you feel full. It is also a good idea to add some fat to meals -- maybe a little olive oil, peanut butter, cheese (or soy cheese), or nuts. Protein can help you to feel full as well -- tofu, beans, and cheese.
