After graduating from St. Louis University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

OTC (over-the-counter): Available without a prescription. OTC drugs are available without a prescription, simply "over the counter." OTC drugs are in contrast to prescription drugs that require a doctor's order.
