- Identify the source of your stress or depression, and find ways to cope with it. This may mean psychological therapy.
- Practice healthy habits, such as by taking a daily walk, but don't push yourself too hard, too fast.
- Devise a healthier meal plan. Don't reach for junk food when you get stressed.
- Make healthy lifestyle changes one at a time, rather than trying to change too much at once.
