Health Tip: Exercise Isn't Always Expensive

(HealthDay News) -- Exercise doesn't have to amount to a monthly pass to the neighborhood gym.

The U.S. Weight-Control Information Network offers these inexpensive exercise suggestions:

  • Take a walk or run around a local park, or the track at a nearby school.
  • Go for a brisk walk around the nearest mall.
  • Rent some inexpensive exercise videos.
  • Don't have a dog to walk? Pretend you do, and start walking on your own.
