Dr. Sanford G. Feldman, MD, FACS, is a practicing ophthalmologist in San Diego, California. He is director of One to One LASIK where he performs advanced LASIK and custom cataract surgery. He is an associate clinical instructor at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA in Los Angeles, where he also trained. Dr. Feldman's peers voted him one of San Diego's “Top Doctors” in a survey by San Diego Magazine and he has received the “Patients' Choice Award” every year since 2008.

Dr. Feldman graduated with distinction from Stanford University and received his medical degree from UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has coauthored scientific research articles on neuroanatomy, glaucoma, and retinal disease and has been an invited lecturer on eye emergencies, LASIK, and cataract surgery. He serves as a consultant for pharmaceutical companies developing new treatments for eye disease and for other companies with an interest in eye health and safety including Qualcomm and Eyemaginations.

Dr. Feldman is also a nationally recognized expert in patient education. He coauthored a lay book on health, wrote and produced scores of television and radio segments on health, collaborated on a nationally syndicated newspaper health column, and developed patient education video programs that are used in doctors' offices throughout the United States. In the 1980s, Dr. Feldman was a writer and producer for Dr. Art Ulene's daily health segments on NBC's TODAY program. He also served as the Secretary for Public Information of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the world's largest professional association of eye physicians and surgeons.
