Isn't medroxyprogesterone used for menstrual problems? My doctor has prescribed it for me as a treatment for ovarian cysts.

While medroxyprogesterone is not a usual treatment for ovarian cysts, it may help with certain abnormalities. As with every medication, every woman should ask her doctor the exact reason or reasons for the use of each medication.
