Please share tips and home remedies for treating the hoarseness of laryngitis.

I find pure honey sipped from a spoon is very soothing for hoarseness or laryngitis and can sometimes bring back the voice for a short time. Also gargling regularly with warm salt water helps a lot and seems to speed up recovery time. Hope this helps.

I'm just recovering, had laryngitis for 5 days. Voice is back but now have a phlegmy cough. Head with towel over steamed water helped heaps, plus Panadol and sucking on throat lozenges. I"m not usually sick but this has knocked me! I had a few stresses in life at present which hasn"t helped.
