Jet lag occurs severely in those who are occasional travelers, but it also occurs in some of those who are frequent travelers. It is the effect of time zone variation, if the person is given a small concentration of oxygen it can abort the symptoms. Melatonin can also help.

Air travel habituation helps in overcoming jetlag. First travel has severe symptoms than repeated travels, and travel within 80 days have less severe symptoms. Melatonin has some role.
