Patient Comments: High Blood Pressure Treatment - Medications

What medications and other types of treatment do you receive for hypertension?

Comment from: LWest, 65-74 Female (Patient) Published: October 13

I am taking lisinopril, metoprolol, and Plavix for high blood pressure. I believe I am on too many drugs. I had a seizure on 12/30/2010 and have been on a lot of drugs including those listed above. I am taking Plavix and 81 mg Bayer aspirin to thin my blood. I am taking Crestor and Trilipix for high cholesterol. I am also taking Dilantin to prevent another seizure.

I take perindopril and atenolol for my high blood pressure. It lowers my heart rate and controls my blood pressure well.
