Topic: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), June 2000
Dr. Lee:
A viewer is 26 weeks pregnant and is having trouble with acid
reflux causing throat burning and choking, usually at night during sleep.
What can be done to help the problem?
Dr. Marks:

effective are elevating the head of the bed, not eating or drinking before
bed, and the use of Gaviscon.
