Patient Comments: Domestic Violence - Warning Signs and Symptoms

What types of domestic abuse did you or a friend experience, and what were the warning signs?

Comment from: marialuz, 45-54 Female (Patient) Published: January 28

When you are kicked, hosed, pushed, hit and spat upon, you never recover and must have the person charged with these crimes. I was kicked, hosed, pushed and hit many times by a high school teacher, who has been reported and has written more perverted letters, and now I am seeing a therapist. Do not delay the therapy for being abused by any person and never allow them thinking it was by accident. It is not!
