Family Medicine , Family Practice - Geriatric Medicine and Family Medicine

Overview

"" I grew up in Livonia, Michigan and attended Stevenson High School. I graduated in 1968 as Valedictorian. I attended Michigan State University for College and Graduated with a BS in Zoology. I also was in the Honors College and received a Phi Beta Kappa. I attended the University of Michigan for Medical School and graduated in 1976. I did a Residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit from 1976-1979, and was the chief resident in 1979. After finishing Residency I stayed on and taught Residents and Medical Students as Associate for the Department of Family Practice. I later became the Program Director for the Residency Program and became Board Certified in Geriatrics besides Family Practice. I always emphasized prevention and health maintenance to the residents I taught. I was continually searching for ways to improve health for my patients as well as myself. During this time I had my 2 children. Josef was born in 1979, just after finishing Residency, and Anna was born in 1981. I never really pursued Alternative or Complementary Medicine until I was informed by a Nurse I know about Magnets. She told me they had taken care of a severe problem with her thumb that several specialists and $3800. in treatments hadnt helped. I never would have tried them or learned more if it hadnt been for a problem I had with severe daily head and neck aches which I was unable to manage with any traditional treatments. Out of desperation I agreed to try my first magnet and had almost immediate relief. Since then I have been much more open to learning and trying new therapies, often after suggestions from patients or other practitioners. I have come to realize that there are many health options that are safe and effective that have not YET been accepted by the traditional medical community. I am not willing to wait 10 or 20 years or more for massive double blind placebo studies, when people need help right now. I have also been in Medicine long enough, and learned enough about Medical history,.to know that what the Physicians and Scientists believe and practice TODAY, may often be quickly disproved. I know these new technologies have worked for me and hundreds of people I know. I know 40 million people across the world have used Magnetic Technologies with good results and never once a medical-legal problem (lawsuit). There is no pill available today that is completely safe or without risk. In fact, the 4th leading cause of death in America is from side effects or complications from prescribed medications. Magnetic Technologies are safe AND effective. We all owe it to ourselves and our friends to know about these options. 1965-1968 Stevenson High School Livonia, MI Valedictorian 1968-1972 Michigan State University East Lansing, MI BS Zoology, Phi Beta Kappa 1972-1976 University of Michigan Ann Arbor, MI 1976-1979 St. John Hospital Detroit, MI Family Practice Residency 1979- Chief Resident Professional Experience St. John Hospital Residency Program Detroit, MI 1979 1989 Assistant Program Director 79-83, Program Director 83-89, Vice-Chairman FP Dept. 86-89 Publications 1997- Pointe Family Physicians, Grosse Pointe, MI Private Practice Partnership 1998-current Full Time Office: Private Practice Partnership Edelweiss Family Physicians 21501 Kelly Rd.
