Overview

Dr Ilano has been a physician since 1981 and trained in pediatrics at the Jacksonville University Medical Center in Jacksonville Florida in 1982 - 1983. She then moved to NYC in 1983 - 1986 and trained in out patient psychiatry with the renowned Dr. Ronald Fieve. In 1986-1991 she started her residency at Trenton Psychiatric Hospitals in West Trenton, NEW Jersey and then in 1991 she moved to Merced to join the staff of the Merced Co. Mental Health. in 1995 she became the Medical Director of the Merced Co. Mental Health and kept her position until she retired in 2008. All of these happened while she started a modest practice in 1992 in Merced and in her retirement she assumed and continued her private pratice up to the present time. In 2010 she was appointed Medical Director of the Co. of San Luis Obispo up to the present and continues her private practice via TelePsychiatry in Merced. She comes to Merced every 2 weeks to visit her colleagues and staff but most especially her patients.
