Luiz C. Pantalena, MD, PhD received his medical degree and doctorate degree in developmental biology from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He completed his residency in dermatology at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, and his fellowship in dermatologic surgery at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. A passionate researcher, Dr. Pantalena has published academic articles in both basic science and applied dermatological surgery. He is board-certified in dermatology. Dr. Pantalena is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of both the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
