Overview

I became a physician because I enjoyed studying the functioning of the human body from a scientific perspective but realized that I also enjoyed daily interaction with people. Becoming a doctor was a natural marriage of these two things. I became a neurologist because this is one of the most challenging and quickly evolving fields of medicine, where new therapies are being developed for diseases that were previously considered to be untreatable even just 5 or 10 years ago.
