Overview

Sreeram Maddipatla, MD, MPH, is board certified in internal medicine as well as hematology and oncology. He serves as a medical oncologist/ hematologist for the Medical Oncology/Hematology Specialty Section at MD Anderson Orlando. Dr. Maddipatla received his medical degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Bangalore, India and his masters degree in public health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He completed an internal medicine residency at State University of New York at Buffalo and a fellowship in hematology oncology at MD Anderson Orlando. Dr. Maddipatla has presented his research at various national meetings including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals including Clinical Cancer Research and Oncology. Dr. Maddipatla has received numerous awards including Outstanding Public Health Student from the University of North Texas. He was presented with the Exemplary Physician Colleague award by the Orlando Health nursing staff. During his fellowship, he was awarded the Dinah Kukes research grant from Phi Mu Foundation as well as travel grants to the Lynn Sage Cancer Symposium and American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meetings. His interests include gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancer, as well as lymphomas. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
