Overview

Dr. Dan received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy and served an internship in general medicine at Emergency Hospital, both located in Bucharest, Romania. He also was an internal medicine resident at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. Dr. Dan completed a cardiology fellowship at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio and an electrophysiology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond, Va. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. Dr. Dan is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, the Southern Medical Association and the American Autonomic Society. He currently is in practice with The Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians group, Piedmont Hospital campus location.
