Dr. Marc Chevrier obtained his medical degree in 1997 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, where he remained for much of his port-graduate studies. He has three clinical / research fellowships in Rheumatology from the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He also holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Chevrier has focused his practice on the study and treatment of true connective tissue disease. He sees physician-referred patients only at our office in Millersville. Dr. Chevrier is Board certified in the specialty of Rheumatology, and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. His training and career interests have resulted in extensive experience with clinical research related to scientific analysis and assessments of medical systems and products. Dr Chevrier was previously an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland (UMD) and was an attending physician at University of Maryland Medical Center, the Baltimore VA and Mercy Medical Center, prior to taking over as medical director of a large international research trial in lupus. He has received numerous awards, including the Arthritis Foundation/Ingelicheff Fellowship Award in Rheumatology. Other clinical achievements include teaching and lecturing, and numerous scientific paper publications.
