Scott Fred Epstein , DO

Overview

Scott Epstein, D.O. is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his Medical degree and graduated with honors from SouthEastern University of Health Sciences in Miami, Florida. He completed his residency in his hometown, at the Philadelphia College of Obsteopathic Medicine. Before coming to Utah, he worked at NorthEastern/Temple University, a successful practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was the Director of Women's Care from 1996 to 2004. He has been practicing OB/GYN at Jordan River Women’s Health since 2004. Dr. Epstein decided that he wanted to be a doctor at a very young age. When he was nine years old, his younger brother was diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Epstein aided him with shots, insulin, food-management, and everything else that he needed. Caring for his brother helped him to discover his passion for medicine. Dr. Epstein loves to play sports and he currently coaches his son’s baseball team. His favorite activities are mountain biking and snowboarding, particularly up Millcreek Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon. He and his family enjoy living in beautiful Salt Lake City. Dr. Epstein believes in treating the whole patient. His favorite part of being a doctor is the moment, just after delivering a baby, when he looks up and sees the newborn in the mother’s arms and tears in the father’s eyes. His office is organized to see patients promptly and all major insurances are accepted.
