Overview

Neil C. Goodman M.D. is a career Board Certified Ob/Gyn physician, who 15 years ago, began performing office based cosmetic medical and surgical procedures under local anesthesia. He is a Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and regularly attends and lectures at their annual meetings. He also is a member of ISAPS (International Society of Plastic Surgeons) , the American Academy of Liposuction Society, the World Association of Gluteal Surgeons, and a number of other profession societies. Dr. Goodman has extensive experience is in the field of minimally invasive body and face shaping by liposuction and fat transfer. He has performed more than 6000 procedures, all under local anesthesia in the past 15 years. He and his office staff provide free consultations to all patients, where the medical history and cosmetic interests of the patients are reviewed, the areas to be treated are examined, and the procedure is discussed in detail. Dr Goodman and his patient care coordinators will show the before and after treatment photos of other patients, matched for age, height, weight, size, and area treated, so that the patient will be knowledgeable concerning the expected results. Following the procedure, the patient is given verbal and written post op instructions, a post op appointment, and Dr. Goodman's personal cell phone All patients are offered copies of their comparative before and after photos at each visit. Finally after the complete healing period (2-4 months), a final review is performed and recommendations, if any, for additional treatment (more fat removal at additional sites, skin tightening, muscle strengthening, etc) are given.
