After receiving his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York, Dr. Lerman completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center followed by an electrophysiology fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Lerman is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine, and a member of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE). He is also the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at St. Bernardines Medical Center in San Bernardino. Dr. Lerman has published several recent reviews on implantable cardioverter-defibrillator therapy, and served as faculty at the 1999 NASPE Scientific Sessions, presenting on "Workplace and Environmental Issues in the Arrhythmia Patient."
