As an orthopedic surgeon, I enjoy helping my patients return to their active lives. Whether young athletes are returning to their sport or older adults are maintaining their independence and activities, I enjoy helping my patients reach their goals. I have a particular interest in sports medicine and actively provide care for my children's sports teams. I am active as an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School teaching second year medical students. My PhD in engineering and my ongoing orthopedic research allow me to critically evaluate new orthopedic technologies and treatments for my patients.
