Dr. Stacy Oommen, DO, a board-certified physician, joined Matlock OB/GYN in 2019. Dr. Oommen provides general obstetric and gynecological services for women of all ages. Dr. Oommen received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2001. She then received her Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University/Kirksville College in Kirksville, Missouri in 2006. In 2010, Dr. Oommen completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan. Since then, she was working in private practice in the Chicagoland area before relocating to Texas. Dr. Oommen is passionate about providing healthcare to women throughout all seasons of life. She believes in working together with her patients on the best appropriate treatment plan for them. She understands that a good physician-patient relationship is based on trust, communication and respect. Dr. Oommen is skilled in minimally invasive surgery and robotic gynecologic surgery. She specializes in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, high-risk obstetrics, hormone replacement therapy, and infertility. While away from the office, Dr. Oommen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cooking.
