Dr. James Lingle is a native of Colorado. He graduated from George Washington High School in Denver and received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Colorado. He finished his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1981 at the University of California in San Diego. Following his residency he returned to Denver where he has been practicing in the south metro area since 1981. Dr. Lingle has been board certified since 1983. During his career he has served as the head of the Obstetrics Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Swedish Medical Center for 6 years. He has also served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Chief of Staff at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He is currently a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He has been recognized, during his career, as one of the outstanding obstetricians in the Denver area and was recognized as one of the top doctors in the Medical Quality Measurement audit of over 3500 Colorado physicians. Dr. Lingle is married to his high school sweetheart, Susan, and they enjoy visiting and spending time with their three children. He also enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
