Overview

Dr. Hiratzka has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for more than three decades. He brings a number of modalities, including acupuncture, to his practice and explores treatment options that include Western and non-Western disciplines. He specializes in robotic gynecologic surgery and has given numerous medical presentations on fetal monitoring, obstetrical issues and the value of teamwork. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Hiratzka received his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine in Iowa City. He completed his internship and residency through the University of New Mexico and the University Hospital in Albuquerque. Dr. Hiratzka is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He serves as the medical director for Obstetrical and Women’s Services at Banner North Colorado Medical Center and also is a member of the Banner Obstetrical Clinical Consensus Group.
