Overview

As an orthopedic surgeon at Ohio State, I specialize in shoulder and elbow surgery. I am lucky to work with a diverse group of patients, from teenage athletes to retired competitors. I love getting to know my patients and their families, especially when I am able to help them through uncertain situations. I do my best to provide specialty-based care with a focus on outcomes and satisfaction. I believe in giving each patient the unique attention he or she needs. Whether a patient is going through operative or non-operative care, I find that I really develop a relationship with them. I love the team approach that we have here at Ohio State. My partners are outstanding, and I fully trust their thoughts and opinions. They are truly national leaders in our field and having them in my corner makes my work easy. the team environment, I like the breadth of resources that are available here. In my free time, I enjoy attending Ohio State football games, watching movies and relaxing with my family. My wife Emily and I have two children. I love sports, and while I spent many years in Wisconsin as a Badger fan, since joining Ohio State, I am proud to adopt the traditions of a Buckeye fan.
