Overview

I was born in Taiwan, but my family came to the United States when I was six years old. My father was an engineer and my mother a homemaker. I grew up on the East Coast and in the Midwest, primarily in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Both my older brother and I chose to go into medicine, both of us committed to helping others. He is a neurosurgeon in Tennessee. I liked delivering babies and I liked the beach, so I went into Ob/Gyn, subspecializing in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and chose to come to sunny Southern California.
