Overview

Dr. Rice received his undergraduate degree from Northeast Louisiana University. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center, New Orleans. Dr. Rice performed his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and completed his oculoplastics fellowship under Dr. Robert Kersten at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Rice is a member of The American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. His medical interests include aesthetic medicine, laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, and treatment of dry eye disease. He has served on Project Orbis, a converted DC-10 airliner, that flies to countries teaching local ophthalmologists surgical techniques. His trips have included Peru, Dominican Republic, and Croatia.
