Overview

As an expert in gastroenterology and hepatology, I specialize in inflammatory bowel disease. I focus on treating diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as Crohn?s disease and ulcerative colitis. I also specialize in caring for other health concerns such as lymphocytic colitis, collagenous colitis and celiac disease. Researching inflammatory bowel disease is of particular interest to me. Everything that we are learning about this disease translates into practical applications and better patient care. I believe that patient care should be personalized and guided by current, updated evidence and research. Ohio State stays on the leading edge of research and technology, including translating this to better patient care. As healthcare professionals at Ohio State, we continually educate and learn from each other. The collegial working environment and supportive staff here make it a rewarding place to practice medicine. When I'm not on the job at Ohio State, I enjoy traveling and relaxing with my family.
