Cystic Hygroma Center

Cystic hygroma is a birth defect that may be apparent while a fetus is still in the womb. It is a malformation of the lymphatic system. Symptoms and signs of cystic hygroma may include breathing difficulties, feeding problems, sleep apnea, and failure to thrive. Treatment usually consists of surgery.
