Patient Comments: Angioplasty and Stents - Prognosis

Did your artery narrowing recur after your angioplasty?

Comment from: Claudia, 35-44 Male (Caregiver) Published: April 22

My husband went for an angioplasty followed by heart attack on 29th Feb 2012. He had two blocks. Both the blocks were removed after a gap of 4 days. Again on 7th April 2014 he had a heart attack. He had two blocks again in different places. In between he had jaundice. Antibiotics are given for that. They did angioplasty again. How can it occur again so soon! I wonder if bypass open heart surgery is better than angioplasty.
