Yes, in an ideal situation a given patient
might totally eliminate the need to take prescription anti-inflammatory
medication and therefore avoid potential significant side effects of those
medications. Those medications are obviously very helpful in many
situations, but may be unnecessary for a patient with osteoarthritis that
responds to glucosamine.
