I bruise easily and they found clots in my leg about 3 years ago. When that happened I bruised, my doctors knew this but never gave me any medication for it. Now I wake up to more bruises all over my body, sometimes on my chest and they are very painful. I talked to the doctor many times, showed where they are, but yet they refuse to give me medication. I do have asthma, hypertension, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, for which I take medication regularly. It took them only two years to get me an EpiPen for latex allergy, but still no medication for my clots in the blood. What am I supposed to do if they don't even answer my calls, or see me!

I am 48 years old. Every day it seems I find more bruises on my body and don"t know how I got them. They last for a while. It seems that every time I bump into something I bruise. I was just wondering if it could be from being low of iron.

I had a bruise on my knee from a nasty fall. My knee was quite sore for about two days (enough to make crossing my legs impossible or doing yoga that involved being on my knees). The bruise went away in about a week. However, two weeks later I rubbed the area with moderate pressure, noticing that I still had residual soreness deep in my knee. The next morning I woke up with bruises in the same area.

I had some black and blue bruises on my leg. They healed but now I have brown spots where the bruises were. It has been a few months since the bruises healed.
