What were your concussion symptoms?

I was hit in the head with a golf iron which gave me a concussion, loose teeth and stitches. I did have a CT scan which came back negative. It has been 4 months and I am still suffering from the symptoms. I will have episodes where I have to sit in my closet shaking, crying with pain and nausea. I get relief when I put my earplugs in and eye mask on and sleep. Noise, lights, and anything with mental simulation will trigger it. It's like having the worst migraine in your life. I have also noticed behavior changes like being over sensitive, anger, and depression. For relief from my neck pain I have been seeing a chiropractor and massage therapist weekly.

It has been 13 months since an auto accident resulted in a concussion. I suffered dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, confusion, headaches, memory loss, poor balance, and mood disorder for several months and still have most of these symptoms at one time or another. I have learned that stress, standing or turning quickly, lights and noises bring the symptoms back. Through meditation, writing things down, Lumosity brain games, and plenty of sleep (9 to 10 hours per night) the symptoms can be minimized. Good Luck and keep a positive attitude.

I slipped and blacked out one night while walking to the bathroom. When I fell, I hit the back of my neck and head on the granite bathroom counter and was out for a minute. I saw a flash of white light. I got up to use the bathroom and fell forward and hit my head. It has been about almost 2 months. My biggest problem is that I still have symptoms such as headaches, pain, dizziness, and loss of balance.

My concussion symptoms are extreme vertigo, my eyes going back and forth and seeing triple vision. I was taken to the hospital, and an MRI and CT scan was done. I was discharged to physical therapy, where they maneuvered my head, causing my eyes to go back and forth. It has been 6 weeks with vertigo, and I cannot drive, or think.

It has been roughly a week since my concussion. At first, I had a terrible headache that wouldn't go away with sleep or Aleve like my normal headaches would. I was also ever-so-slightly dizzy/funky feeling. But, it wasn't until I Googled headache causes that I made the connection between my symptoms and the sleepwalking incident I'd had a few days prior (rammed into the door frame, forehead first). Things have improved, but periodically I'm still experiencing mild headaches and barely noticeable dizziness (usually worse in the evenings).
