HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth as directed, usually one dose is taken every other day for 3 doses. This medicine comes as a powder in a double-chambered foil packet (sachet). The contents of both chambers should be mixed in about 4 ounces of cold or lukewarm water. Do not prepare this medicine in milk, juice, or carbonated beverages. Swallow the mixture one hour before a meal. For this medication to be completely effective, your course of treatment should be completed 1 week before possible exposure to typhoid fever.
