USES: This combination product is used to help relieve pain and help the healing of skin wounds, ulcers, and sunburn. Trypsin is an enzyme that helps to break up and remove dead skin and tissue. Balsam Peru is a mild antiseptic that helps prevent bacteria from growing and may also help the growth of skin cells. Castor oil is added to protect and soothe the affected area. This product may also reduce the odor from some wounds.

HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on the skin only. Avoid spraying in the eyes. It is usually applied 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by your doctor.If your doctor has directed you to clean the affected area, clean it before applying this medication. Shake well before using the spray. Hold the can upright about 12 inches (30 centimeters) from the affected skin. Press the valve and quickly spray the affected area. Be careful not to inhale this medication. Leave unbandaged or apply a dressing as directed by your doctor. To remove the medication, wash gently with water. If you are unclear about how to clean the affected area or apply this medication, consult your doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS: Temporary pain or stinging at the affected area may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.Treatment of skin wounds and ulcers by breaking up and removing dead skin and tissue may infrequently increase the risk for serious infection (sepsis). Tell your doctor immediately if you notice any symptoms of serious infection, including: fever/chills, fast breathing (hyperventilation), fast heartbeat, warm skin, weakness.A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.This is not a complete list of possible side effects.
