PRECAUTIONS: Before using this medication, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: glaucoma (narrow-angle), prostate enlargement (BPH or cancer), difficulty urinating, severe kidney disease, any allergies (especially to atropine or its derivatives such as ipratropium or oxitropium).This drug may cause blurred vision. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can perform such activities safely.This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Your doctor or pharmacist may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.Before using this medication, tell your doctor of all nonprescription or prescription products you may use, especially of: bowel or bladder antispasmodics/anticholinergics (e.g., atropine, clidinium, propantheline), antihistamines/anticholinergics (often found in cough/cold preparations), medication for Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics such as benztropine), pramlintide.This document does not contain all possible interactions. Therefore, before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all the products you use. Keep a list of all your medications with you, and share the list with your doctor and pharmacist.
OVERDOSE: This medication will not work and may be harmful if swallowed. If swallowing or overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms may include confusion, unusually fast/irregular heartbeat, hot/dry skin.
NOTES: If you stop smoking, your breathing problems will improve, and you will lower your risk of cancer and heart disease.Use only the special inhaler device provided with this medication.Do not share this medication with others.
