It is used in the treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. HOW TO USE: Take this medication on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Capsules may be swallowed whole or opened and sprinkled on a spoonful of soft food such as applesauce or pudding. Swallow the drug/food mixture immediately (do not chew) and follow with a glass of water or juice. Do not divide contents of capsule. Do not keep drug/food mixture for future use. This medication works best if a constant level is maintained in the body. Do this by taking dose(s) at the same time every day.
