SIDE EFFECTS: Irritation in the affected area and temporary stinging immediately after application may occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor or dentist. If excess irritation occurs, a rinse with baking soda solution (see HOW TO USE section) will neutralize the medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies (especially drug allergies). Do not use this product on normal gums, skin or other tissues. Avoid eye contact. This product will damage most fabrics. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.
NOTES: Do not share this product with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, consult your dentist, physician or pharmacist promptly.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
