Patient Comments: Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth - Symptoms

Please describe the symptoms and treatment of your small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

Comment from: 45-54 Male (Caregiver) Published: August 05

My husband has had this for about 2 years. He has fainted, gotten mean without even remembering it, eats like a horse and never gains weight. It's very scary. He is dizzy, his chest hurts, he sometimes can't breathe, and sometimes he says his heart is racing but when we take his blood pressure, it's low or normal. His docs haven't done a thing.
