What kinds of treatment have been effective for your squamous cell carcinoma?

I had surgery for squamous cell carcinoma on the nose. That was the only choice and that was 100% curative.

I recently had a squamous cell cancer removed from my cheek. I was a lifeguard in high school and played a lot of golf until I was 65. Never even thought about skin cancer. Then it started as what looked like a pimple. Then it grew over a two week period into a pea size lump. Went to the doctor who diagnosed it as a skin cancer and had it cut off. If it does not go away, go to your doctor.
