I had a squamous cell cancer the size of a fifty cent piece cut off my leg last summer, now I have two smaller ones, one on my cheek and one on my chest. My doc is cutting them off this Wed. He biopsied them last week. Oh well, I am paying for the sun worshiping as a kid! I have had at least twenty Basel cell cancers froze off but the squameous is another story!

I'm sitting here with the remnants of basal cell on my left calf. The lesion itself started out as half the size of a pencil eraser. After biopsy, it was eraser-sized. Now it is quarter-sized, if you count the very-red, ring that surrounds it. I'm soaking and using antibiotics, but, as the doctor warned - because I smoke - I may be having an issue of healing. The doctor says extremities are the hardest healing anyway.

I am a breast cancer survivor, and now I am told I have basal carcinoma on my cheek. I have fair skin but not blond [natural] never stay in the sun because I was told it was not a good idea when one had chemo. It scares me more than breast cancer, I know it is irrational, but to have a scar in my face is hard to face. I had a biopsy and now I will have more surgery. There is no cancer of any kind in my family. I do not like beaches, pools; I am an indoor lady that likes books. Patient CommentsViewers share their comments

I have had basal cell carcinoma and it was removes twice. Once by the curette and once by surgery due to where it was at. It was in the corner of my eye and had to be removed surgically.
