Patient Comments: Septic Arthritis - Symptoms

What were the symptoms of your septic arthritis?

Comment from: frank, 55-64 Male (Patient) Published: November 06

It just started throbbing one night and within a day my knee was swollen to twice its normal size and I was in severe pain. All the medical people thought I had broken it. My general physician did draw the fluid off, 300 mil, but did not think to test it.
