My bronchitis started with a dry, scratchy throat. Then a few days later the coughing began. It was such a croupy sounding cough that my husband was afraid I had whooping cough. Then sore throat and clogged sinuses set it. Five days of this and I realized I couldn't just tough it out so I caved in and went to the doctor. He diagnosed bronchitis and a sinus infection. I got a rump shot (mixed with pain numbing medicine, yay!) and 10 days of Keflex. Hope it is better soon!

When I got bronchitis, it only started with a persistent cough, and quickly got worse. My chest hurt, and it became difficult to breathe. I ended up in the emergency room twice before I was able to get some medications to ease my pain. The first time, I did not have a fever, so it was dismissed as a panic attack. On the second visit, I had a fever of 101.2. Even with medication, my bronchitis lasted three weeks.
