Rich Weil: "People are concerned with the notion that you're going to gain weight if you weightlift and my response is that if I could give you five pounds of muscle, you'd want to take it because in the long run it's going to be to your advantage in keeping the weight off. Any exercise is better than nothing, and is the best predictor of keeping the weight off. When you lose weight, you lose 25 percent of your muscle. The fastest way to lose weight is to concentrate on your calorie intake."
