JAMES K. BREDENKAMP, M.D. , F. A. C. S.

Dr. Bredenkamp recieved his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He then went on to serve a six year residency at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine in the department of Surgery. His residency included two years of General Surgery and four years of Head and Neck Surgery. He spent one year doing basic science research on the immunology of cancer cells. He is board certified in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery), and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Curently he is in private practice in Mission Viejo, California where he serves as the Chief of Surgery at Mission Children's Hospital. He is the author of over 20 basic or clinical scientific papers, and has written five book chapters. His professional interests include head and neck oncology, facial reconstruction/plastics, and pediatric otolaryngology.
