"Dr. Stoppler, What spider bites are most dangerous?  Well, the majority of spiders found in the U.S. are harmless with 2 exceptions, the black widow spider and the brown recluse spider.  Both of these spiders are considered dangerous to humans.  Black widows and brown recluse spiders are more common in the southern states of the U.S.  They like warm, dry climates and undisturbed areas so they can hide in basement, closets, and attics in your house..."
