Microwave Hot Cocoa
If you are looking for ideas to work a low-fat dairy serving into your day and you don't necessarily like the way milk tastes, let the microwave lead the way.
- 3/4 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
Pour low-fat milk into a microwave-safe mug and stir in chocolate syrup. Microwave on HIGH for about 1-2 minutes or until warmed to your liking.
Per cup of hot cocoa: 117 calories, 6.5 g protein, 19.5 g carbohydrate, 2 g fat (1.3 g saturated fat), 7 mg cholesterol, 0.3 g fiber, 110 mg sodium. Calories from fat: 15%.
